Help Someone In A Hurricane? Go To Jail.

Recently, a brave individual decided to save pets that had been misplaced in the Carolina through Hurricane Florence. This person was arrested soon after.

Because that's what cops need to be keeping us safe from. Not the murders, bankers, robbers, companies that break tax laws, all of that can wait. The real issue in this world is someone picking up a stray dog and returning it to the owner. How could they? What a monster!

This is what happens when you have to many laws on the books. The average person commits 3 felonies a day without even knowing it due to how many we have. 1% of the population is in prison due to mostly smoking a plant we've decided shouldn't even be illegal and that was only made illegal because being black can't be. We have the largest prison population in the entire world, and yet we're still locking people up over small things like this.

In the words of a certain president "sad!"

No Michael: Here's All Of The Evidence Against Brett Kavanaugh

Recently Daily Wire pretend journalist Micheal Knowles wrote an article called "Here's All Of The Evidence Against Brett Kavanaugh". The entire article is blank. Get it? Because I guess there just isn't any proof against Kavanaugh. Which is odd considering there's quite a bit of proof against Kavanaugh.

In 2002 Dr.Ford told her husband she was assaulted 16 years earlier by a then private citizen she went to a party with named Brett Kavanaugh. In 2012 she told a doctor the same story, by that point Kavanaugh was a judge on a court of appeals.

Ford also passed a lie detector test, something Brett has refused to even try. So I think it's fair to say who is the more trustworthy one in this situation.

Michigan GOP's Dirty Trick

The Michigan GOP has seen to find a new way to screw the workers. But this time, in the most backhanded way they could. Normally, Republicans will just not pass the legislation that helps the poor. But this time, they did something a little different.

A direct ballot initiative in order to raise the minimum wage and have paid sick leave. This was clearly going to pass. We know this because a majority of Americans, even the right-wing ones in Michigan, want a living wage and like not having to worry about being fired for feeling under the weather.

Even Michigan Republicans seem to understand this, considering they passed both of these things into law shortly after it was announced. Sounds great right. But here's the twist.

If something is passed through the state legislator, it only needs a simple majority to be gotten rid of. However, if the people pass it a 75% majority would be required.

So will these new pro-worker regulations last? Of course not.

Donald Caught Using FEMA Money For ICE

With Hurricane Florance hitting the East you would think, especially after the failure of Purto Rico you would think Donald would be extra careful. I guess not considering he just moved a bunch of funds from FEMA into ICE.

This is kind of odd considering illegal immigration from Mexico has been at a net-zero since 2008. Meanwhile, the Hurricane in a US Territory claimed over 1,000 lives more than the biggest attack in US history. But guess which one seems to be more of a priority to the White House?

Although all of this gave me an idea for Donald's reelection slogan: You can't vote against me if you're underwater.

Football Man Who Didn't Stand Up Makes Nike Millions

Recently, Colin Kaepernick (who my auto-correct seems to want me to "Colin Pumpernickel") got a $14 million contract with Nike. If you don't remember, Kaepernick became famous for being a quarterback but lost his position due to him kneeling during the national anthem just before a football game in 2016 as a response to police brutality.

This caused him to be fired from the NFL and, as such, has spent his days as an activist. Nike decided to pick him up and the right went crazy. Rather it be attempting to boycott Nike or just downright burning the products they already payed for, which will do something. I don't know, but I think the 60,000 homeless would like those Nike products and don't care if the spokesmen didn't stand up. Especially considering a marine told him to take a knee in the first place.

But did the boycotts work? Nope. In fact, Nike has had record sales ever since they teamed up with Kaepernick. This is because the American people either don't care about politics or want to feel part of a movement. Even if they get that feeling from something as simple as buying a pair of tennis shoes.

Does this mean that Nike cares about police brutality? Of course not. This means they realize that they realize that people who are anti-police brutality are a stable market. This is also assuming that Kaepernick isn't doing the same thing, which may be the case.

Either way, Nike is doing better and they deserve it.

The Effects Of Climate Change: Less School For Your Kids!

As many are aware, the mainstream media has been saying for years that climate change is going to kill us. For some reason, the idea that the artic should have ice and New York shouldn't be flooded is very appealing to liberal journalists.

However, no one in the mainstream leftist media seems to want to cover the positive effects of our changing climate. For instance, as Ohio learned recently, kids will have less school.

That's right, places like Cleveland (hometown of Lebron James) and Akron (hometown of . . . someone important I'm sure) recently had to call schools off because it was too hot for students. Not helped by the fact that many of these schools do not contain air conditioning, which I guess is also the result of leaving education to the states.

So that's right kids, more climate change equals less school for you guys. Another reason to vote Republican.

Hurricane Maria Deaths Now 4,000, Where's Donnie?

Recently, a Harvard study found that when Hurricane Maria ruined Puerto Rico last year, over 4000 people died. CBS also found that 2.975 people died in that hurricane. Huge margin of error, I know. But that's still a lot.

CBS also didn't cover this once on there television program. Instead they were to busy talking about how Donald was not nice enough towards McCain. Donnie didn't address this either. He was to busy doing rallies talking about how Democrats want to "raid Medicare to pay for socialism". Whatever that means.

Puerto Rico is currently in an awful state. Reports have found them without power, clean water, healthcare, and much more. They are also left with nothing in case another hurricane rips through with hurricane season starting up.

But let's just talk about the deaths. Here are the deaths caused by other major natural disasters:

Hurricane Andrew: 65

Hurricane Sandy: 285

Hurricane Katrina: 1,833 (And let's not forget, Bush's infamous non-response to Katrina caused his approval ratings to reach the lowest point any president had got at that point in US history)

All 3 of these events combined do not even reach the total the smallest current estimate claims died in this natural disaster. This is easily a failure on the part of the federal government.
