My Skill Based Immigration System

One of the biggest arguments made when someone brings up the idea of how to reform immigration is that we need to move to a "skill based system." Of course, what skills are always left up in the air. Mind you, our fastest periods of economic growth happened when the only skill needed was the ability to show up.

However, I'm willing to compromise. Here's what I believe, if you can prove you are smarter than the average anti-immigration activist, you are allowed in.

This would be a complex process involving SAT scores, ACT scores, reading level, and IQ, but the idea is simple in of itself. Not only that but the pro-immigration people such as myself won't have to deal with this non-sense system.

The Triple 9 Society--a group you need an IQ in the top 0.1% of the population to join--did a survey of its members. Unsurprisingly, they were very pro-immigration because they understood it lowers prices and leads to a larger economy.

Not only that, but it makes sure the people on the anti-immigration side have to be intelligent. Trump may "love the poorly educated," but those who support skill-based immigration shouldn't.

Or we could just allow immigrants to come into this country as long as they aren't hurting anyone, whichever is easier.
